Abstract: A card connector, especially an electronic card connector, is composed of an insulative body, a multiple number of conductive terminals, a bump and an auxiliary bump. The insulative body consists of a base with card slot and elastic arms sticking out at both sides of the base. A multiple number of conductive terminals are located on the card slot. The bump is formed on the inner side of the terminal of the elastic arm. The auxiliary bump is also formed on the inner side and located at the back of the bump. The present invention can effectively enhance card insertion stability and prevent the card from getting loosened. Besides, the present invention also facilitates the positioning of the electronic card while it is inserted into the slot.

Abstract: An electronic card connector formed of an electrically insulating housing and a set of terminals in the housing is described in which the housing has an insertion hole defined in the flat base thereof for receiving an electronic card and two parallel spring arms respectively and perpendicularly extended from two distal ends of the base for securing the inserted electronic card in position. Each spring arm has a protruding retaining block for holding down the inserted electronic card in the insertion slot of the housing and a supplementary retaining block for supporting the inserted electronic card in the insertion slot of the housing.

Abstract: A PC card connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector. The first connector has an upper row of terminal holes and a lower row of terminal holes at front side thereof. A row of terminal grooves are formed below one row of terminal holes and each row of terminal grooves receives a row of terminals mated with a PC card. The first connector has two elastic arms extended therefrom and an elastic plate is connected to bottom of the elastic arm to elevate the first connector such that the first connector will not block other components of the notebook computer and the assembling of a second connector can be facilitated.
