  • Publication number: 20110188096
Abstract: A scanning device includes a first tray, a second tray, a detection module, a scanning module, and an image processing module. The first tray has an identification element. When the scanning device scans the first tray, the detection module detects the identification element so as to generate a first signal. When the scanning device scans the second tray, the detection module does not detect the identification element so as to generate a second signal. The image processing module uses a first group of parameters to process the scanned image when receiving the first signal. The image processing module uses a second group of parameters to process the scanned image when receiving the second signal.

  • Publication number: 20110115900
Abstract: A film scanner includes a specular surface for changing a path and a direction of lights for focusing an image, which is filmed on a film, on a sensing module. With such a disposition, a height of the film scanner is shortened, and a volume of the film scanner is shortened as a result. The film scanner is also burnt with a driver program on a circuit board, which implements or carries an image processing module, so that the film scanner is capable of scanning the image filmed on the film without being connected to a computer, and conveniences in usage and carry of the film scanner is introduced as a result.

  • Publication number: 20020067224
Abstract: In the present invention, a system for a scanner executing scanning comprises a virtual hardware module in an electrical apparatus, and the virtual hardware module is corresponding to the scanner and used for receiving a plurality of commands from the electrical apparatus. The virtual hardware module is displayed on the electrical apparatus. A scanner control module in the electrical apparatus is for communicating with the scanner via the electrical apparatus and the virtual hardware module. The scanner control module is for controlling and executing the commands from the virtual hardware module. A method for a scanner executing scanning comprises displaying a virtual hardware icon in a computer, and the virtual hardware icon corresponding to the scanner for receiving a plurality of commands from the computer. The virtual hardware icon is selected for commanding a command of executing scanning, and then the scanner executes scanning according to the command of executing scanning. Then scanned data is saved.
