Abstract: A clamshell structure for an electronic device includes a window-type frame, a cover plate and a pivot. The window-type frame has an opening, and includes a first pivoting portion and a first fixing member. The first pivoting portion is near the opening. The first fixing member is disposed on a cover fixing area of the window-type frame. The cover plate includes a clamshell body, a second pivoting portion and a second fixing member. The clamshell body is used to cover the opening. The second pivoting portion is disposed on the opening. The second fixing member is disposed on an open side of the clamshell body. The pivot is pivoted through the first pivoting portion and the second pivoting portion. When the clamshell is opened, an electronic component is mounted into or dismounted from the opening for assembling or disassembling.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for displaying shadows of circular light sources. A computing device can determine a light source and an occluding polygon that is between the light source and a receiver surface, where the occluding polygon includes vertices connected by edges. The computing device can determine a shadow of the occluding polygon on the receiver surface by at least: determining, for a particular vertex, a projection vertex on the receiver surface by projecting a ray from the center point through the particular vertex; determining an outline polygon based on the projection vertex; determining a projection circle around the projection vertex; determining a penumbra of the shadow based on exterior tangents outside of the outline polygon; and determining an umbra of the shadow based on interior tangents inside the outline polygon. The computing device can display at least part of the shadow.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative seat, a plurality of terminals fixed to the insulative seat and at least one magnetic element retained in the insulative seat. The insulative seat defines a vertical first mating surface and a mating portion extending forwardly from the first mating surface, the mating portion defines an inclined second mating surface. Each terminal defines a contacting portion disposed in the mating portion and a soldering portion extending outside of the insulative seat. The mating portion defines a shallow recess recessed from the second mating surface, and the contacting portion defines a free end exposed on the shallow recess and locating behind the second mating surface.

Abstract: Methods of identifying polymorphisms associated with ataxia-ocular apraxia 2 (AOA2), are described. The polymorphisms associated with AOA2 include specific mutations in the senataxin (SETX) gene. Also described are methods of diagnosis of AOA2, as well as methods of assessing an individual for carrier status for AOA2.

Abstract: The invention provides an electronic device. By reasonably and tidily arranging modules such as a mainboard, a fan module, a power supply module and a board card module in a case, more modules can be arranged in a limited space of the case, the utilization rate is high and the cost is low; the fan module, the power supply module and the board card module are independently designed and all modules cooperatively work with one another; each module is a clamping structure and can be disassembled and assembled with bare hands, and the operation and maintenance efficiency is improved; and signal transmission between all modules is completed by golden fingers and thereby the internal portion of the case is clean and tidy.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for assembling a fan unit into an electronic device and removing therefrom. The electronic device has a first connector. The fan unit includes a fixture, a fan, a second connector and a handle. The fan is assembled into the fixture and electrically connected to the second connector. The handle is pivotally connected to the fixture and operable to be pivotally moved between a first position and a second position of the fixture. When the handle is operated to move to the first position, the fixture is pushed to approach to the first connector, so as to so as make the second connector connect to the first connector in mechanical and electrical. When the handle is operated to move to the second position, the fixture is pulled out by the handle, so as to make the second connector disconnected to the first connector.

Abstract: A fingerprint matching system for fingerprint matching using virtual minutiae includes a fingerprint scanning device, including (i) an interface to a fingerprint scanner, and (ii) a sensor associated with the fingerprint scanner, configured to identify a match between a search fingerprint representing a fingerprint of a subject and a reference fingerprint from among a plurality of reference fingerprints representing fingerprints of a plurality of historical subjects; a database containing the plurality of reference fingerprints representing fingerprints of the plurality of historical subjects; and a computing device in communication with said database and said fingerprint scanning device.

The method includes providing a stream of boron trifluoride; heating the metallic substrate at a first temperature; and heating the metallic substrate at a second temperature different from the first temperature. Abstract: A method for curating documents, executed by a computer, includes detecting one or more themes in a document, identifying one or more user interests for a user, presenting a ranked list of the one or more themes to the user, and dynamically updating the ranked list based on user feedback. The ranked list may be ranked according to the one or more user interests. A computer program product and computer system corresponding to the above method are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A pixel circuit, a pixel, and an AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display device comprising the pixel and a driving method thereof. The pixel circuit comprises a power supply circuit, a basic circuit and a compensation circuit, which are sequentially connected. The power supply circuit is connected to a first power supply to supply power to the basis circuit. The compensation circuit is connected to second and third power supplies, respectively, for providing difference values compensating for a voltage and current of an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode). The pixel comprises an OLED and the pixel circuit. The AMOLED display device comprises the pixel circuit. By compensating for a difference between threshold and power supply voltages of a transistor, the response characteristics of the AMOLED may be improved to generate light of a same brightness, thereby meeting requirements on image uniformity and consistency of an AMOLED.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to using detected bladder events for the diagnosis of urinary incontinence or the treatment of lower urinary tract dysfunction. A system includes a sensing device comprising a pressure sensor to directly detect a pressure within a bladder. The sensing device is adapted to be located within the bladder. The system also includes a signal processing device to: receive a signal indicating the detected pressure within the bladder; detect a bladder event based the detected pressure within the signal; and characterize the bladder event as a bladder contraction event or a non-contraction event. The characterization of the bladder event can be used in the diagnosis of urinary incontinence or the treatment of lower urinary tract dysfunction.

Abstract: A pixel structure and an organic light emitting display are disclosed. The pixel structure includes a plurality of pixels which includes a plurality of sub-pixels. At least one pixel forms a pixel unit, and longitudinally adjacent pixel units are arranged in a vertical mirror image, and/or laterally adjacent pixel units are arranged in a horizontal mirror image. The present disclosure may increase the area of mask opening during evaporation, reduce the difficulty of mask production process, and reduce the evaporation process difficulty by a reasonable pixel arrangement structure and allowing sub-pixels of adjacent pixels to share one mask opening to evaporate. It does not need to preset a gap during evaporating the sub-pixels of adjacent pixels of the mask, thereby a real high PPI is achieved while keeping the opening ratio. In addition, the present disclosure can further increase the strength of the mask.

Abstract: A server structure includes a transfer board, a connecting backplane, a first bridge circuit board and a second bridge circuit board. The transfer board has oppositely at least one first connector and at least one second connector. The connecting backplane has at least one third connector located correspondingly to the at least one first connector and at least one fourth connector located in correspondingly to the at least one second connector. To electrically couple the transfer board and the connecting backplane, the first bridge circuit board is inserted between the first connector and the third connector, while the second bridge circuit board is inserted between the second connector and the fourth connector. The communication bandwidth between the transfer board and the connecting backplane can be extended by the combination of the first bridge circuit board and the second bridge circuit board.
