  • Publication number: 20230217596
Abstract: A flexible circuit board includes liquid crystal polymer (LCP) layers and metal layers including circuit routes. Each of the LCP layers includes via structures. The metal layers and the LCP layers are alternatively stacked to form a multi-layer structure. Adjacent metal layers are electrically connected through the via structures. Some via structures of different LCP layers are substantially aligned with one another to form a stack of via structures. Each of the via structures includes openings filled with conductive material. The size of the opening fulfils the following equation: Vb?cos(Bh/Vh)*Vt/k*2, where Vb is a diameter of a smaller aperture, Vt is a diameter of a bigger aperture, Vh is a combined thickness of a LCP layer and a metal layer, Bh is a thickness of a LCP layer and k is a tensile modulus.

  • Publication number: 20160024461
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for fabricating a cell-laden hydrogel construct, comprising the steps of: (a) making a mixture of a physically gelable protein, a first crosslinking enzyme and a cell; (b) extruding the mixture into a second crosslinking enzyme before the mixture is gelled and forming a microgel by physical gelling; and (c) reacting the microgel with the second crosslinking enzyme to fabricate the cell-laden hydrogel construct.

  • Patent number: 8249840
Abstract: A simulator system transfers parameters between an enhanced nuclear power plant simulator and a safety control system simulator. Problems concerning software common mode failure, interface interactions errors, software failure complexity, and other failure modes, are evaluated. Thus, diversity and defense-in-depth are analyzed and safety is improved.

  • Publication number: 20110082679
Abstract: The present invention provides a simulation. In the present invention, a hardware simulation is replaced with a software simulation. Hence, with the software simulation, cost for buying hardware is saved. At the same time, system functions are effectively certified in a limited time. And speed, quality and safety on testing system modules are thus improved.

  • Publication number: 20090106001
Abstract: A test facility is obtained for software failure simulation. The test facility applies new failure modes related to software safety analysis and deduction. It is done by integrating a nuclear power plant simulation facility and a high pressure core flooder control facility. And the integration is done through a hardware I/O module and a quality guarantee network.

  • Publication number: 20030219180
Abstract: An oil-impregnated bearing for providing stable rotational performance for a shaft to carry a greater work load and reduce friction force between the shaft and the bearing. The invention includes extended troughs formed on the peripheral surface of a center opening of the oil-impregnated bearing to alter the shape of the center opening to become a geometric polygon such that the contact area between the center opening and the shaft may be reduced, thereby decreasing friction and operation noise. The extended troughs may contain a solid state lubrication agent to prevent the temperature of the bearing from rising during operation.
