  • Publication number: 20240157057
Abstract: A real-time drug injection time duration measurement system includes a sound transducer, a waveform shaping circuit operably coupled therewith, a pulse clamping circuit operably coupled with the waveform shaping circuit, and a timer operably coupled with the pulse clamping circuit. The sound transducer detects a first sound associated with drug delivery initiation and a second sound associated with drug delivery completion and is further converts the detected first and second sounds into a first electronic waveform and a second electronic waveform, respectively. The waveform shaping circuit converts the first and second waveforms into a first pulse and a second pulse, respectively. The pulse clamping circuit triggers upon receiving the first pulse and generate a regenerated pulse. The timer initiates upon receiving the regenerated pulse and stop upon receiving a subsequent regenerated pulse via the pulse clamping circuit.

  • Publication number: 20220362484
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device. The drug delivery device includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end. Additionally, a needle guard disposed at the proximal end of the housing and movable in an axial direction relative the housing between a first position and a second position. A storage container, disposed within the housing for storing a drug, includes a needle for administering the drug. The drug delivery device also includes an injection activation button disposed on the distal end of the housing and including a fingerprint detector. Additionally, the present disclosure includes a lock configured to switch between a locked configuration inhibiting actuation of the drug delivery device and an unlocked configuration enabling actuation of the delivery device. The lock is in the unlocked configuration when the needle guard is in the second position and the fingerprint detector detects a fingerprint.

  • Patent number: 11238150
Abstract: A medical device with limited computational capability includes medical hardware, a first register to store a static, substantially unique identifier of the medical device, a second register to store a static encryption key, an interface to receive and transmit data over a short-range communication link, and processing hardware. The processing hardware is configured to apply the static encryption key to the identifier of the medical device to generate an encrypted identifier, transmit the encrypted identifier of to another device via the interface, receive an encrypted identifier of the other device, decrypt the encrypted identifier of the other device using the static encryption key to determine an identifier of the other device, generate a dynamic encryption key using the identifier of the medical device and the identifier of the other device, and apply the dynamic encryption key to medical data transmitted between the medical device and the other device.

  • Patent number: 7652531
Abstract: The present invention provides a cost-effective and power-effective solution to a high performance amplifier design over conventional Class A and Class B/AB amplifiers. Without increasing cost or losing simplification of conventional Class B/AB amplifier configuration, two kinds of unique local feedback loops, which cover the second and third stages and further offer a feedback shifting feature over frequency range, are disclosed to replace the traditional Miller compensation capacitor to suppress dominant distortion, which is usually generated by the two last stages while maintaining stability of the amplifier, through high frequency end.
