  • Patent number: 7754179
Abstract: Methods of synthesizing a diamond material, particularly nanocrystalline diamond, diamond-like carbon and bucky diamond are provided. In particular embodiments, a composition including a carbon source, such as coal, is subjected to addition of energy, such as high energy reactive milling, producing a milling product enriched in hydrogenated tetrahedral amorphous diamond-like carbon compared to the coal. A milling product is treated with heat, acid and/or base to produce nanocrystalline diamond and/or crystalline diamond-like carbon. Energy is added to produced crystalline diamond-like carbon in particular embodiments to produce bucky diamonds.

  • Publication number: 20100031166
Abstract: A system and method for web browsing using placemarks and contextual relationships in a data processing system. A navigation placemark is provided within a web browser. The web browser comprises a first web page and a second web page. A piece of information is located at a specific location within each of the first and second web pages. A first individual placemark is added to the navigation placemark, and a second individual placemark is added to the navigation placemark. Web page content is extracted from the first web page and can be used to control information shown within the second web page. An interaction between the first individual placemark and the second individual placemark is specified. A trigger criteria for the first individual placemark and the second individual placemark is also specified. A first profile and a second profile are created. The first profile is run as a background process that can be driven by the second profile, and a user may switch between the first and second profiles.

  • Publication number: 20100023875
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to user interfaces and provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and computer program product for automatically rendering user interface elements based on predefined rules. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for automated rendering of user interface elements in a user interface can be provided. The method can include reading a plurality of rules, wherein each rule specifies criteria for automatic rendering of a user interface element in the user interface and receiving an attribute value via a data feed. The method can further include determining that the attribute value meets criteria for at least one rule and automatically rendering a user interface element in the user interface. The method can further include periodically rendering the user interface element in the user interface so as to reflect updated attribute values.

  • Publication number: 20090287429
Abstract: A method, apparatus and program product are provided for mapping electrical circuits. A user provides an electronic record of one or more rooms with outlets to be mapped and installs a module in each outlet to be mapped. Using an interactive program, the user prepares a diagram of a circuit box. The user triggers a probe to propagate a signal detectable by said modules over a circuit and to provide circuit information. The user retrieves the circuit information from the modules. Then, the interactive program associates the circuit information from each module with a corresponding outlet on said electronic record of one or more rooms.

  • Patent number: 7014238
Abstract: The present invention is related to a unit utilized in the practice of outdoor sports, specifically, but not solely, for stalking and legally hunting animals. Specifically it refers to an automatically and reversibly transformable trailer-to-raised lookout platform from which the animals may be observed for the purpose of filming them, photographing them or hunting them. It is characterized by consisting of a cube-shaped structure with at least one set of wheels and a hitch for connecting it to a towing vehicle, with a roof made up of a platform and an awning which may be raised and lowered by means of telescoping arms located in each corner and activated by an elevation system which raises the platform above the trailer thus forming the floor of an observation and lookout cabin, as well as the awning which at the same time is raised above the platform making between the awning and the platform means for covering the side opening of the cabin.

  • Patent number: 6553371
Abstract: A system, a program storage device and a software method, useable in a computer database system with a display device, is provided for displaying and selecting table joins. The method is capable of assisting in a user's selection of a table join by displaying all user-selected database tables in a join overview diagram and automatically inferring and displaying in a join grid each join grid row having a potential valid table join for a pair of user-selected database tables. The method accepts the user's selection of a join grid row from the join grid, and, in response, places a join indicator in the join overview diagram between icons representing the pair of user-selected database tables from the user-selected join grid row. The user's join grid row selection is performed with a single operation.
