    Abstract: Provided are mixed carrier, multivalent pneumococcal conjugate compositions comprising 21 different pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide-protein conjugates, wherein each of the conjugates includes a capsular polysaccharide from a different serotype of Streptococcus pneumoniae conjugated to either tetanus toxoid (TT) or CRM197, wherein the Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes are selected from 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 8, 9N, 9V, 10A, 11 A, 12F, 14, 15B, 18C, 19A, 19F, 22F, 23F, and 33F, where the capsular polysaccharides of two of serotypes 1, 3, and 5 and one or both of serotypes 15B and 22F are conjugated to TT and the remaining capsular polysaccharides are conjugated to CRM197.     Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of an oxazoline compound which is easily chemically converted to a beta-amino-alpha-hydroxy acid or a gamma-amino-beta-hydroxy acid. The method comprises producing a compound of the following formula (4) using .alpha.-amino acid. The produced compound (4) is subjected to an intramolecular cyclization to produce an oxazoline compound of the following formula (3). The oxazoline compound (3) is oxidized at a vinyl group with RuCl.sub.3 or NaIO.sub.4 to produce an oxazoline compound of the following formula (1) which is easily chemically converted to a beta-amino-alpha-hydroxy acid. Alternatively, the oxazoline compound (3) may also be treated with 9-borabiclo[3.3.1]nonane such that a hydroxy group is introduced into the end of the vinyl group of the oxazoline compound(3). The introduced end hydroxy group is oxidized with RuCl.sub.3 or NaIO.sub.

The even-numbered gate lines are connected to the first shorting bar through the shorting bar connector. The second shorting bar formed on an insulating(passivation) layer is connected only to the even-numbered gate lines. Then the shorting bar connector connecting the even-numbered gate lines to the first shorting bar is removed by etching such that the first shorting bar is only connected to the odd-numbered gate lines and the second shorting bar is only connected to the even-numbered gate lines.
