Abstract: In one illustrative embodiment, there is a computer implemented method for class selectable design sharing. The computer implemented method comprises, obtaining a set of classes for a design model from a source system, and identifying desired classes from the set of classes to form an identified subset of classes. The computer implemented method further exporting the identified subset of classes from the design model of the source system to a design model of a target system.

Abstract: A system and method for operating a dual-mode mobile communications unit in a home network of the communications unit is disclosed. In an embodiment of the method, the dual-mode mobile communications unit is provisioned as a visitor in the home network of the communications unit. The home network utilizes a proprietary technology but the communications unit communicates with the home network in the same standards-based technology that a roamer in the home network uses to communicate with the home network. In an embodiment of the system, the system includes the home network of the communications unit, where the home network utilizes a proprietary technology but where the communications unit communicates in the home network in the standards-based technology. The system also includes a visitor location register coupled to the home network. The dual-mode mobile communications unit is provisioned as a visitor in the visitor location register of the home network.

Abstract: A wireless communication system including an originator media gateway to encode voice data into an IP packet depending on whether tandem free operation (TFO) or normal operation is being used. The media gateway makes such determination independent of the TFO protocol being used. In particular, the media gateway determines that TFO is being used by determining whether bits in particular fields of a predetermined number N of voice octets are filler bits or not. If they are filler bits, then TFO is being used, otherwise, normal operation is being used. If TFO is being used, the media gateway forms an IP packet with data from only another particular fields of the voice octets. If normal operation is used, the media gateway forms an IP packet with data from the entire voice octets. A target media gateway determines TFO or normal operation by examining the size of the received IP packet.

Abstract: An architecture and method for intercepting communications in a communications network is disclosed. The architecture includes a first access device that captures call identifying information of a call to the communications network and transmits the captured call identifying information to a network infrastructure of the communications network over a communications channel that interconnects the first access device to the network infrastructure. The architecture also includes a second access device that resides within the network infrastructure and captures call content information of the call. The method includes the steps of capturing call identifying information of the call to the communications network by the first access device, transmitting the captured call identifying information to the network infrastructure over the communications channel, and capturing call content information of the call by the second access device.

Abstract: A method of placing markings on a polymer plastic grave marker. Firstly, providing a polymer plastic grave marker of a known polymer composition. The polymer plastic grave marker is of a first color. Secondly, removing material from a surface of the polymer plastic grave marker to form hollow markings. Thirdly, providing liquid polymer that is capable of bonding with the known polymer composition, in one or more other colors. Fourthly, filling the hollow markings in the polymer plastic grave marker with the liquid polymer. The liquid polymer bonds with the known polymer composition, thereby providing integral colored markings. The polymers used are chosen to have the same coefficient of thermal expansion and moisture absorption and are preferably the same polymer.
