  • Publication number: 20170261039
Abstract: Certain aspects relate to shaft-to-shaft D-to-polygon connectors. The connector can have an interior channel with a “D-shaped” cross section to form a friction fit with an output shaft of a motor having a corresponding outer D-shape. The outer shape of the connector can be hexagonal, square, triple square, 12-point, or D-shaped. As such, when the connector is fit within a correspondingly shaped channel of another shaft or mechanical body, the torque from the motor is transmitted to the other shaft or mechanical body without the need for set screws.

  • Publication number: 20170202459
Abstract: At least one sensor in a wearable device worn by a user may be configured to detect at least one of an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal and arterial pulse (or photoplethysmogram (PPG)) signal. At least one processing circuit may process the ECG signal, the pulse/PPG signal, or both to determine at least one of a pulse transit time (PTT) and pulse arrival time (PAT). The at least one processing circuit may determine a blood pressure (BP) of the user from the PTT, the PAT, or both.

  • Patent number: 9595790
Abstract: Certain aspects relate to systems and techniques for flexibly and movably mounting a charge port in front-facing portions of an electric vehicle. When not in use the charge port can be concealed by the body of the vehicle. In a pre-charging or charging mode the charge port can be automatically moved to a charging position where it is exposed through the vehicle body and thus available for coupling with a charging connector at a charging station. Further, the charge port can be flexibly mounted to the vehicle so as to absorb impact forces in one or more directions. The charge port can include oscillation dampening mechanisms for electrical cables coupled to the charge port.

  • Patent number: 9508171
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of rendering at least one graphical object comprising a plurality of sub parts described with a page description language format, said method comprising the steps of: converting the at least one graphical object into a first edge pair and a second edge pair, wherein the first edge pair and the second edge pair are vertically separated by a scanline gap; joining the second edge pair and the first edge pair to make a corresponding new edge pair having an empty fill portion in the scanline gap; and processing the new edge pair to render the at least one graphical object.

  • Patent number: 9361555
Abstract: A method of rendering a graphical object (e.g., 801) on a page (800), is disclosed. A region of the page containing the graphical object (801) is marked as output incompatible based on the graphical object (801) being output incompatible. A bounding box comprising the marked region is determined. A proportion of a number of the regions marked as output incompatible are determined to a total number of regions in the bounding box. A further region within the bounding box is marked as output incompatible to increase the determined proportion above a threshold. The graphical object in the marked region and the further marked region is converted into an output compatible graphical object if the determined proportion is above the threshold. The output compatible graphical object is rendered.
