  • Patent number: 6773118
Abstract: An apparatus for positioning and adjusting a light pipe includes a bracket that is formed by folding a metallic plate. When the metallic plate is folded to form the bracket, a first end and a second end of the metallic plate perpendicularly press against each other to form a close space for accommodating the light pipe. The apparatus for positioning and adjusting a light pipe further includes a clip device for positioning the bracket. A first adjustment screw has a front end pressing against the side surface of the bracket. A second adjustment screw has a front end pressing against the bottom surface of the bracket. The horizontal position of the light pipe is modified by adjusting the first adjustment screw. The vertical position of the light pipe is modified by adjusting the second adjustment screw.

  • Publication number: 20040108424
Abstract: The present invention relates to a support frame for adjusting the height of an image output apparatus. The frame includes a rotatable damping wheel and a supporting foot. When the damping wheel pushes against a side of the supporting foot to form a positioning state, the foot is static to the housing. If the housing is pressed downward, the damping wheel rotates to make the supporting foot move relative to the housing for adjusting height of the image output apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20040106314
Abstract: A portable apparatus with a mechanism for ejecting an add-on device contained in a socket of the portable apparatus. In a preferred embodiment, the ejecting mechanism comprises two engaging parts that can respectively rotate by rotating along two pivots, and a flexible band connected between the two engaging parts for engaging with the add-on device with a contact surface. When a user pushes the two engaging parts toward the socket, an opposite end across the pivot of each engaging part will move outward from the socket, and the flexible band will be stretched and eject the add-on device.

  • Publication number: 20030106972
Abstract: An adjusting device comprising a foot member, a supporting member, and a moving member. The supporting member is fixed to the foot member, and the moving member includes at least a moving body, an elastic device and a button. The moving body includes two passageways, one of which is sized to receive the supporting member so that the moving body can move vertically and is coupled to the supporting member, and the other of which is sized to receive the elastic device so that the elasticity of the elastic device embeds in the passageway horizontally to clip to the supporting member so that the moving body is fixed to the supporting member. The button is movable horizontally or vertically and is buckled to the moving body, through which the user can impose a force horizontally or vertically to deform the elastic device, so that the elastic device can disengage from the supporting member for the adjustment.
