  • Patent number: 11846237
Abstract: An exemplary gas turbine engine assembly includes a fan section including a fan, a first spool having a first turbine operatively mounted to a first turbine shaft, and a second spool having a second turbine operatively mounted to a second turbine shaft. The first and second towershafts are respectively coupled to the first and second turbine shafts. An accessory drive gearbox includes a set of gears. A compressor is driven by the first towershaft. A transmission couples a starter generator assembly to the set of gears. The transmission is transitionable between a first mode where the starter generator assembly is driven at a first speed relative to the second towershaft in response to rotation of the second towershaft, and a second mode where the starter generator assembly is driven at a different, second speed relative to the second towershaft in response to rotation of the second towershaft.

  • Publication number: 20230342342
Abstract: A system for providing identifier assignments to a schema(s) according to a binary serialization protocol is disclosed. The system may receive a first schema from a device(s). The first schema may be associated with a first data structure. The system may analyze the first schema in relation to a second schema associated with a second data structure associated with the first data structure. The system may assign, based on the second schema, identifiers to fields of the first data structure associated with the first schema to conform the first data structure to the second schema. The system may store the assigned identifiers in memory based on the second schema. The system may analyze content items corresponding to another data structure received by a network device. The system may determine whether fields of the another data structure are associated with assigned identifiers in the memory, which conform to the second schema.

  • Patent number: 11608784
Abstract: A gas turbine engine has a low speed input shaft drives a first plurality of accessories. A high speed input shaft drives a second plurality of accessories. The first plurality of accessories rotating about a first set of rotational axes perpendicular to a first plane. The second plurality of accessories rotating about a second set rotational axes perpendicular to a second plane. The first and second planes extending in opposed directions away from a drive input axis. Compressed air is tapped and passes through a heat exchanger, then to a boost compressor, and then to at least one rotatable components in a main compressor section and a main turbine section. The boost compressor driven on a boost axis, which is non-parallel to the first set of rotational axes and the second set of rotational axes.

  • Patent number: 11346701
Abstract: A fluid tank system comprises a fluid container that includes a sensor opening in a fluid container wall defined by a rim, and a fluid level sensor comprising a radial flange on a proximate end of a longitudinally extending electronics stem that includes a distal end. The distal end of the electronic stem is inserted into the fluid container via the sensor opening and the radial flange seats on the rim. The distal end of the electronics stem is guided via a first radial support and a second radial support to a seat that is located coaxial with the sensor opening, where the first and second radial supports are longitudinally separated and radially spaced apart to allow the electronics stem to longitudinally pass between the first and second radial supports until the flange seats on the rim ensuring that the distal end of the electronic stem is longitudinally positioned adjacent to the seat.
