Abstract: A method for interacting with location-based applications is provided. In one operation, a plurality of application is stored in a storage device, and each application corresponds to a geographical location. In one operation, a search criterion is received from a client located remotely with respect to a server. In one operation, an application that matches at least one attribute of the search criterion is selected from the storage device. In one operation, the selected application is displayed on an interface of the client, and the selected application is positioned on the interface base on its geographical location. In one operation, instances of the selected application are initiated on the server. In one operation, the instances of the selected application on the server are coupled with the client to enable user interaction with the selected application via the interface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for advertising apps. The method may include the steps of providing a first part of a user interface on a first client for setting an app to be advertised, providing an app stream of the app on a second client, and transmitting a coordinate when/after the app stream is operated on the second client, and displaying a reply of the app stream on at least one of the first client, the second client and a third client.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of configuring an interactive region on a screen output displayed on a client, wherein the screen output may be generated by an app executed on a server and may be streamed from the server to the client. The method may include the steps of receiving a coordinate and a hardware setting from the server, configuring the screen output at a point corresponding to the coordinate to form the interactive region on the screen output, dispatching a function corresponding to the hardware setting to the interactive region, and performing the function when the interactive region is acted.

Abstract: A network hub is adapted for controlling connection between a server and multiple work stations in a local-area network. The network hub includes a rectifying and voltage-regulating circuit for outputting a power signal, a signal processing circuit coupled electrically to the rectifying and voltage-regulating circuit for receiving the power signal therefrom, and an output port module coupled electrically to the signal processing circuit. The signal processing circuit receives a command transmitted via an input port module connected to the server, and is operable so as to output control signals corresponding to the command from the server. The output port module has connecting ports coupled electrically to switching circuits, respectively. Each connecting port is connected to a corresponding one of the work stations via network lines. Each control signal is received by a respective one of the switching circuits so as to control conduction or cut-off thereof.
