  • Publication number: 20130102442
Abstract: A treadmill is provided which allows a lateral shift rack to be set over the pedestal of the main framework, and the lateral shift rack is provided with a treading mechanism. The lateral shift rack is driven to yield reciprocating lateral shift through circumferential movement of the crank linking frame when two pedals of the treading mechanism are treaded to shift vertically. When the treadmill is treaded, lateral shift will occur simultaneously. Based on the driving compensation mechanism, when the left and right pedals are treaded, the end point could be further shifted to a preset distance, so as to compensate the treading path of two pedals, and improve the operational flexibility, the fitness effect and value of the treadmill.

  • Publication number: 20110177918
Abstract: A treadmill with lateral shift effect includes a main frame, two swinging levers, with a pin joint set at the top and a swinging end formed at the bottom. The pin joint is pivoted onto the stands of the main frame. A movable rack is transversely set overhead the pedestal of the main frame and both ends of the movable rack are separately connected with the swinging end of two swinging levers. A treading mechanism is set on the movable rack and has a base frame, an upper swinging set, a lower swinging set and two pedals. The bottom of the base frame is assembled fixedly onto the movable rack, the upper/lower swinging sets are pivoted centrally on top of the base frame, and the bottom of two pedals is provided with an assembly seat for assembly and connection of two ends of upper/lower swinging sets.

  • Patent number: 7468022
Abstract: The present invention provides a bidirectional linkage single damping mechanism suitable for a leg exerciser. The invention includes a circular drive element, which shifts circularly to define a first section and a second section in opposite motion directions. A brake swinging arm, provided with a coupling end and a swinging end. The coupling end is connected with a treading rotation axis; and the swinging end is connected with either section. The two sections drive separately two drive pulleys. A bidirectional drive pulley assembly has two rotary pulleys and two drive pulleys connected by a unidirectional bearing. The bidirectional drive pulley assembly then drives a damping wheel assembly. With this invention, it is possible to provide a damping mechanism that can be connected with the leg exercisers for an improved resistance.

  • Patent number: 7048675
Abstract: A modified fitness equipment of three-dimensional sway structure. The basement is provided with a pedal while a crosswise movable pipe is mounted at the bottom of the pedal. And, a dragging member is installed to provide a preset resistance to pedal during treading movement. Also, one end of the movable pipe is connected to the exterior of a shaft lever at one side of a vertical pivotal pipe over the basement. Thus, a movable end with horizontal spin can take shape at the other end of the movable pipe while a vertical swinging arm shall be installed convexly at the bottom of the movable end. Besides, the bottom of the swinging arm shall be connected to the exterior of a coupled bar via a first pin joint. The movable end of the movable pipe can horizontally sway during the treading movement, thereby generating more flexible three-dimensional sway during application.

  • Patent number: 6709367
Abstract: A leg exercise machine includes a base and a swivel mechanism by which two footrests are mounted on the base. The swivel mechanism has an upright post mounted on the base, a horizontal shaft fastened pivotally at one end to the upright post, a horizontal support tube rotatably fitted over the horizontal shaft and provided at one end with a connection bar, and a link rod connected at one end with the connection bar of the horizontal support tube by a first universal joint, with the other end of the link rod being connected to the base in conjunction with a second universal joint. The two footrests are supported respectively by a tilted arm on the horizontal support tube such that the two footrests are capable of vertical and horizontal motions at the same time.
