  • Patent number: 8203652
Abstract: A method for detecting SECAM-L signals is disclosed. First, a SECAM-L signal is received and demodulated into a demodulation signal. Then high frequency components of the demodulation signal are filtered out and a low frequency signal, including many sync pulses and many data pulses, is obtained. Next, the low frequency signal is inversion into an inversion signal, having many inversion sync pulses and many inversion data pulses. Afterwards a voltage level of the inversion signal is detected continuously whether it is a lowest level. After that, the lowest level is determined whether belonging to the inversion sync pulses when the voltage level of the inversion signal is the lowest level, and a detection signal is outputted. When the lowest level belongs to the inversion sync pulses, a voltage level of the detection signal is high, and the demodulation signal is an inversion SECAM-L demodulation signal.

  • Patent number: 7657087
Abstract: This invention provides a method and computer-readable medium for detecting flesh-tone regions in pictures, images, and videos. First, a flesh-tone axis is defined in a color space coordinate system, the flesh-tone axis passing through both the center of a flesh-tone region and the origin of the color space coordinate system. A perpendicular point, is then calculated on the flesh-tone axis as being the point having the shortest distance to an input pixel. A first distance and a second distance are then calculated based on the coordinates of the input pixel, the perpendicular point and the center of the flesh-tone region. The determination as to whether the input pixel is in the flesh-tone region can be made based on the first distance and second distance.

  • Publication number: 20090220151
Abstract: A three-dimensional color difference value adjusting method for adjusting a selected region of an image is provided. The method includes the following steps. First, a plurality of color difference adjusting values corresponding to a plurality of reference brightness values are received. Next, target color difference adjusting value corresponding to brightness value of each pixel within the selected region is estimated according to the color difference adjusting values. Then, color difference value of each pixel within the selected region is adjusted according to target color difference adjusting value of each pixel within the selected region.

  • Publication number: 20080288565
Abstract: A binary data comparison method is performed as follows. First, bits of a plurality of binary data are provided, and bit x of the plurality of binary data are summed, where x=n, n?1, . . . , 1 or 0, and bit x is the most significant bit (MSB). If the sum is equal to 1, the binary data having bit x=1 is determined as the maximum. If the sum is larger than or equal to 2, the binary data having bit x=0 is masked by setting all bits of the binary data to zero. The above processes are repeated in which bit x is iterated by bit x?1 if the sum is not equal to 1 until the maximum is found.
