Abstract: A phosphor material manufacturing method includes: prefabricating a LaPO4:Tm+ solution or a LaPO4:Eu+ solution in nitric acid; adding a carbon nano-sized material to the LaPO4:Tm+ solution or the LaPO4:Eu3+ solution for mixing to obtain a mixed solution precursors; precipitating the mixed solution and separating a precipitation substance from the mixed solution; drying and grinding the precipitation substance to obtain a powder material; the powder material with a predetermined temperature to form a sintered LaPO4:Tm+ phosphor material or a sintered LaPO4:Eu+ phosphor material. Advantageously, the sintered LaPO4:Tm+ phosphor material or the sintered LaPO4:Eu+ phosphor material is coated by the carbon nano-sized material for enhancing the efficiency of energy transfer and luminance of the phosphor material.

Abstract: A redundant array of independent disks (RAID) storage device, a server system, and a power management method thereof are provided. The RAID storage device includes a plurality of hard disks, a plurality of fans, a power detector, and an expander control unit. The power detector is used for detecting the power consumption of the RAID storage device. The expander control unit is electrically connected to the hard disks, the fans, and the power detector. The expander control unit has a power control application which enables a user to configure an upper power consumption limit. When the power consumption of the RAID storage device exceeds the upper power consumption limit, the expander control unit executes a power management procedure so that the power consumption of the RAID storage device is lower than the upper power consumption limit.

Abstract: An electrical connector for connecting a plurality of cables with a PCB comprises an insulating housing and a plurality of first and second contacts received therein. The insulating housing comprises a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface parallel to each other and a tongue portion extending downwardly in an up-to-down direction. The first mounting surface is lower than the second mounting surface in the up-to-down direction forming a stepped surface. The tongue portion extends far away from the stepped surface and comprises opposite periphery surfaces. The first contact comprises a first connecting portion on the first mounting surface and a first contacting portion extending along one periphery surface of the tongue portion while the second contact comprises a second connecting portion on the second mounting surface and a second contacting portion extending along the other periphery surface of the tongue portion.

A primary conduit coupled to the open enclosure charging unit. The primary conduit outputs conditioned air to the open enclosure charging unit. The conditioned air output by the primary conduit maintains a temperature of the portable device at a predetermined temperature range within the open enclosure charging unit.

The signal clamping device includes an equalizing unit, a determining unit, and a clamping unit. The equalizing unit is utilized for equalizing the signal and generating an equalized signal. The determining unit is utilized for generating an indication signal according to the equalized signal. The clamping unit is utilized for determining a clamp level according to the indication signal and clamping the signal with the clamp level.

The first input port is arranged to receive a motor control input. The first output port is arranged to generate a motor control output. The controller is arranged to generate an output signal according to an input signal, and has a second input port for receiving the input signal and a second output port for outputting the output signal. The input signal is derived from the motor control input, and the motor control output is derived from the output signal. The signal processing circuit has a target interconnection configuration selected from a plurality of candidate interconnection configurations each including an interconnection between the first input port and the second input port and an interconnection between the first output port and the second output port.

Abstract: A data storage method for a plurality of RAID systems includes an SAS expander recording information of failure of a disk of a plurality of RAID systems when failure of the disk is detected and reporting the information of failure of the disk to the RAID system server when the RAID system server sends a polling message to the SAS expander or tries accessing the failed disk. In response to the failure information of the failed disk from the SAS expander, the RAID system server sends a command to the SAS expander, to replace the disk with a hot spare disk.

The outer surface of the first fiber component and the outer surface of the second fiber component contact each other along the length direction of the first fiber component by textile spinning. The collagen can be in contact with the skin so as to contribute to the efficacies for, as example, anti-aging, skin-whitening, and wrinkles-eliminating when people wear the textile component.

The use of GNMT for treating or preventing fatty liver diseases is achieved by enhancing GNMT-NPC2 interaction, and thus decreasing or preventing the accumulation of lipid and cholesterol in hepatic cells or tissues.

Abstract: A projector including a lens, an IR emission circuit, an IR reception circuit and a central processing circuit is provided. The projector is controlled by a first infrared ray (IR) signal provided by a remote controller. The IR emission circuit emits a second IR signal to detect whether an obstacle is positioned on an optical path of the projection light. When an obstacle is positioned on the optical path, the second IR signal is reflected to the IR reception circuit via the obstacle. The IR reception circuit provides a first and a second output signal in response to the first and the second IR signal respectively. The central processing circuit determines that an obstacle is positioned on the optical path and accordingly alters an operational mode of the projector in response to the second output signal and controls the operation of the projector in response to the first output signal.
