  • Patent number: 6591717
Abstract: A plum blossom-shaped ratchet wrench structure. A one-way ratchet is disposed in a head section of the grip of the ratchet wrench. A distance exists between a central point of the head section and a central line of the grip, whereby the head section has a protruding section laterally deflecting and protruding from one of the grip for a user to easily identify the driving direction of the one-way ratchet. A widened connecting section is formed between the protruding section and the lateral side of the grip. A receptacle is formed in the connecting section, in which a ratchet block is disposed. The receptacle has an opening having a length smaller than a length of the ratchet block, while being larger than a height of the ratchet block. When the ratchet block is installed into the receptacle, the ratchet block is stopped by the wall of the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 6516691
Abstract: A ratchet tool in which a receptacle is formed between the head section and the handle. A ratchet block and a spring are disposed in the receptacle. The top face of the receptacle is formed with a slot communicating with the receptacle and outward passing through the main body of the ratchet tool. The top face of the ratchet block is formed with an insertion section in which a driving block is inlaid. The driving block has a driving rod extending through and out of the slot to screw with a push button. By means of pushing the push button, the driving rod is linearly moved within the slot, whereby the driving block drives the ratchet block to change the wrenching direction of the ratchet tool.

  • Patent number: 6283606
Abstract: A ratchet wrench with illuminating device, including two clamping boards, a pad block, a rotary member and at least one cell cover. By means of the pad block sandwiched between the clamping boards, the ratchet wrench can be easily manufactured and applied to those situations necessitating great torque and working sites with insufficient illumination. Therefore, the ratchet wrench is more competitive on market. When it is necessary to replace the cell, a user only needs to push the cell cover in a specific direction so as to open or close the cell cover. Therefore, the cell can be easily replaced.

  • Patent number: 6101902
Abstract: A ratchet wrench including two clamping panels, a base seat, a rotary member, an engaging member, a pressing member and a resilient member. The two clamping panels are respectively formed with two circular holes opposite to each other. The rotary member is rotatably disposed in the circular holes. A middle portion of an outer periphery of rotary member is formed with multiple teeth. Two end portions of the outer periphery are two fitting sections for fitting into the holes of the two clamping panels. One of the fitting sections is formed with a through hole in which the pressing member and the resilient member are disposed. The inner wall face of the circular hole of the clamping panel serves to stop the pressing member and the resilient member from dropping out. Therefore, the pressing member can be pressed against a nut or a socket to facilitate operation. Also, the structure is simple, easy to be assembled and firmly engaged.

  • Patent number: 5946987
Abstract: An offset ratchet wrench is provided having a base seat disposed between upper and lower bars. The base seat is an elongated member, including two lateral faces which are not in contact with the upper and lower bars. A top face of the base seat contacts the upper bar and a bottom face of the base seat contacts the lower bar. At least one pair of locating projections are respectively disposed on the top and bottom faces of the base seat for preventing the base seat from longitudinal or transverse sliding between the upper and lower bars.

  • Patent number: 5603247
Abstract: An improved ratchet wrench includes an upper plate, a lower plate, a base disposed between the upper plate and the lower plate, two ratchets, two trigger blocks, two springs and two baffle elements. Both the upper plate and the lower plate have at least a bent portion at one end thereof. The distance between a middle portion of the upper plate and a middle portion of the lower plate is smaller than the distance between an upper bent portion and a lower bent portion of the plates, such that the distance between the middle portions is equivalent to the distance between the bent portions of the upper and lower plates multiplied by a cosine of the angle of the bend. By such an arrangement, the upper plate and the lower plate are identical in shape and length, and hence manufacture of the ratchet wrench may be speeded up and costs reduced.

  • Patent number: 5528963
Abstract: A ratchet hand tool including a stop plate and an urging element for controlling clockwise or counterclockwise of a ratchet being provided on two base plates which may be grip with the hand. One end of the ratchet is provided with a joint element having a ball and an elastic ring. A rotary element is fitted onto the joint element. When a longitudinal rod is inserted into the joint element to urge against the ball inside the joint element, the ball displaces outwardly to expand the elastic ring, which in turn urges tightly against the rotary element. In cooperation with a polygonal hole of the rotary element, the longitudinal rod is caused to turn when the rotary element is rotated, so that screws may be driven in or out quickly.

  • Patent number: 5119701
Abstract: The base seat of a dual-directional ratchet wrench has a protective rim enclosing the perimeter of the sandwich parts. The rectangular windows are arranged on the protective rim at the positions corresponding to those of two lugs of the set regulator so as to ensure that the sandwich parts are embraced completely after the disposition of the set regulator in the base seat. The inner side of the protective rim is a smooth surface devoid of the flange so that modifications of molding apparatus for manufacture of sandwich parts, set regulators, etc. are not required.
