Abstract: An integrated circuit and method of making an integrated circuit is provided. The integrated circuit includes an electrically conductive pad having a generally planar top surface that includes a cavity having a bottom surface and sidewalls extending from the bottom surface of the cavity to the top surface of the pad. An electronic device is attached to the top surface of the electrically conductive pad. A wire bond is attached from the electronic device to the bottom surface of the cavity. A molding compound encapsulates the electronic device.

Abstract: Methods of amplifying and determining a target nucleotide sequence are provided. The method of amplifying the target nucleotide sequence includes the following steps. A first adaptor and a second adaptor are linked to two ends of a double-stranded nucleic acid molecule with a target nucleotide sequence respectively to form a nucleic acid template, in which the first adaptor includes a Y-form adaptor or a hairpin adaptor and the second adaptor is a hairpin adaptor. Then, a PCR amplification cycle is performed on the nucleic acid template to obtain a PCR amplicon of the target nucleotide sequence.

Abstract: A method for updating a public key is provided. The method includes: acquiring, by a transmitting-end device, a first hash value calculated based on a first current public key; generating a first update public key and a first update private key; generating an update string such that a hash value of a hash function calculated based at least on the first update public key and the update string is equal to the first hash value; calculating, by a receiving-end device, a second hash value based at least on the first update public key and the update string according to the hash function; and verifying the first update public key by comparing the first hash value and the second hash value.

Abstract: A touching display panel and a display device using the same are provided. The touching display panel includes a liquid crystal layer, a first substrate having a hard surface structure, a second substrate, a touch sensor layer, a thin-film transistor layer, and a color filter layer. The first and second substrates are respectively disposed at two sides of the liquid crystal layer. The touch sensor layer is disposed between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer, and is formed on the first substrate. The thin-film transistor layer and the color filter layer are both disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. At least one of the thin-film transistor layer and the color filter layer is formed on the first substrate.

Abstract: An authentication method of a server device and at least one client device with limited computational capability includes randomly generating an initial codeword using the client device. The initial codeword is generated from a linear combination of at least one base. The base is assigned to the client device and selected from a generator matrix that is stored in the server device and that corresponds to a linear code. The authentication method further includes generating an adapted codeword from the initial codeword using the client device. The authentication method also includes transmitting a transmission group to the server device using the client device. The transmission group includes an authentication data that includes the adapted codeword. In addition, the authentication method includes authenticating the client device using the server device and the transmission group received by the server device.
