Abstract: A shoulder movement warning device is disclosed. The shoulder movement warning device is attached or integrated into a garment worn by a subject or user. The device includes flex sensors and inertial movement unit (IMU) sensors placed at various positions proximate the shoulders and arms of the subject when the garment is worn. The flex sensors and IMU sensors provide detection of angular movement of the shoulders of the subject. When the angular movement exceeds various thresholds for angular movement, the device may provide vibrational feedback to the subject via one or more vibration discs on the garment indicating that shoulder movement is exceeding the thresholds.

Abstract: Light therapy glasses are described herein. The glasses are a single device that is useable to provide both blue light to promote alertness in the wearer and red light that promotes sleepiness. Light is provided by blue LEDs and red LEDs positioned near but not in direct sight of the wearer’s eyes. Thus, the wearer is still able to view his/her surroundings while receiving light for their appropriate state. The glasses may include a blue light filtering lens that can be utilized in combination with the red light to further enable sleep by reducing the amount of ambient blue light being received by the wearer where the blue light may inhibit melatonin production.
