  • Publication number: 20250171652
Abstract: Methods of continuously dispersing catalyst inks for use in coating processes are described. The catalyst ink is continuously mixed in a high shear mixing unit, and the mixed ink is sonicated in a sonication unit. Part of the sonicated catalyst ink is returned to the high shear mixing unit. The method provides continuous mixing and sonicating of the catalyst ink. The mixed and sonicated ink can then be applied to a substrate in a defined pattern.

  • Publication number: 20240222676
Abstract: An ionically conductive thin film composite (TFC) membrane is described. The low cost, high performance TFC membrane comprises a first micropous support membrane, a hydrophilic ionomeric polymer coating layer on a first surface of the microporous support membrane, and a second microporous support membrane on the surface of the hydrophilic ionomeric polymer coating layer opposite the first microporous support membrane. The hydrophilic ionomeric polymer coating layer is ionically conductive. The ionomeric polymer can also be present in the micropores of the first microporous support membrane. Methods of making the TFC membranes and redox flow battery systems incorporating the TFC membranes are also described.

  • Publication number: 20080270310
Abstract: Embodiments of a system that provides access to at least a portion of a software product are described. During operation, this system receives purchase information from a first location, where the purchase information includes information about purchased software features to which a user purchased access and where the purchased software features are provided by a first subset of modules in the software product. Next, the system receives an access request from a second location from which the software product can be accessed, where the access request includes an identifier provided to the user when the user purchased access to the purchased software features. Next, the system provides configuration instructions to the second location, where the configuration instructions dynamically enable the first subset of the modules.
