  • Publication number: 20230168480
Abstract: High-speed optical targeting systems and methods are described, wherein a light source, e.g., a laser, is optically coupled with a spatial light modulator. Some embodiments include a device for two-dimensional light steering. In some embodiments, the device comprises a spatial light modulator, and a laser in optical communication with the spatial light modulator. In some exemplary methods, an area is scanned withing a microscope with millisecond revisit time, such as with at least 500 individually targeted points of light. In other exemplary methods, a beam of light is directed from a laser light source into an optical system, through which the light may be focused into a line on a spatial light modulator, wherein the light can be scanned across the spatial light modulator, and directed from the spatial light modulator onto a sample. Other exemplary methods are drawn to the construction and use of the embodiments escribed herein.

  • Publication number: 20230059199
Abstract: An articulating bed incorporates a base frame having base side rails and a head end and a foot end, and a support frame having support side rails. An extension assembly including a carriage is carried by the base side rails. The carriage is mounted with wheels engaging the base side rails to translate from a first position through a range progressing toward the head end to a fully translated position and a scissor mechanism having at least one forward scissor assembly and at least one aft scissor assembly extended by the translation of the carriage to place the scissor mechanism in an extended position to elevate the support frame from the base frame. Abase shroud is engaged to the base frame. A telescoping shroud is engaged to the support frame and telescopically received within the base shroud with the scissor mechanism in a retracted position and extended from the base shroud with the scissor mechanism in the extended position.

  • Publication number: 20230034666
Abstract: An off-highway recreational vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll-over protection system (ROPS). The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that utilizes a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to provide power to the ground engaging members, wherein the CVT is cooled via air captured by a CVT intake body located adjacent the driver-side seat, between the frame and external panels of the utility vehicle.

A carriage having a seat support is carried by the frame, mounted with wheels engaging the side frame members to translate from a first position through a range progressing toward the head end to a fully translated position. An upper body support is rotatably connected to the carriage and carries a mattress support. At least one telescoping rotation strut is attached at a first end and rotates through an axle pivotally attached to the side frame members. The telescoping rotation strut engages at a second end the upper body support. At least one fixed length rotation arm is carried at a first end by a rotating tube and pivotally attaches to the upper body support at a second end. The rotating tube is mounted on wheels constrained in a track and translates laterally in the track to contact a track end proximate the head end of the frame at a termination of a first range of motion.

  • Patent number: 10188568
Abstract: An articulating bed incorporates a support frame with a head end. Side frame members support and carry a carriage having a seat support. The carriage is mounted with wheels engaging the side frame members to translate from a first position through a range progressing toward the head end to a fully translated position. A first elevating frame rotates about an axle attached to the side frame members with the first elevating frame concealed within a depth profile of the side frame members in an unrotated position. First rollers carried by the carriage engage lower profile surfaces of the elevating frame and a second roller carried by the first elevating frame engages a lower surface of an upper body support pivotally attached to the seat support. Translation of the carriage from the first position to the fully translated position rotates the first elevating frame about the axle to articulate the upper body support.
