Abstract: A temporary, disposable seat cover that is lightweight, inexpensive, waterproof, and easy to install in anticipation of exposure to extraordinary soiling conditions, such as when taking a pet to the groomer or veterinarian, for example, and that may be quickly removed following the event. The seat cover is fabricated of a non-woven polyolefin fabric, such as the material sold by DuPont under the trademark TYVEK, and is adapted for universal temporary attachment to either a bucket or bench type automotive seat by means of conventional straps, hooks, or an elastic hem provided in a portion or the entire periphery of the seat cover.
