Abstract: A method for measuring lens quality includes receiving and transmitting an image's information to a location module through an image collecting module. A location module partitions the image's information into a plurality of measure areas. An image processing module computes the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) of each measure area. A comparing module compares the MTF with a predetermined MTF to determine quality of the lenses.

Abstract: A system includes a portable electronic device and a web page printing module installed in the portable electronic device. The portable electronic device has an embedded operating system and a web browser for presenting a web page. The web page printing module is capable of converting the web page to a picture format file and then converting the picture format file to a print (PRN) file which is printable by a printer. A printing method associated with above described system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for autonomous monitoring includes the following steps. A plurality of video signals of a region to be monitored is collected by a video signal collecting module. A current image and a previous image of the region to be monitored are analyzed by an image processing module. A number of points of difference between the current image and the previous image is calculated by an image comparison module. The image comparison module stores a predetermined threshold value of different points and is capable of outputting an alarm signal when the number of different points exceeds the predetermined threshold value. An alarm condition is indicated by an alarm module when the alarm signal is received.

Abstract: A printing system includes a printer and a printer server connected to the printer. The printer server is installed with a printer driver for driving the printer. The printer server includes a web control module and a print module. The control module provides a user interface (UI) to a connected client. The control module is capable of receiving a first file in an original format from the client and transmitting the first file to the print module. The print module is capable of transforming the first file in the original format to a second file in a format printable by the printer.
