Specifically, there may be provided a display panel and a display device, capable of preventing a reduction in opening area by at least one active pattern disposed in a portion of at least one emission area among the plurality of emission areas and disposed in a portion of the non-emission area, wherein the active pattern includes at least one cutting line in an area corresponding to the emission area, and wherein the active pattern is electrically connected to one of the plurality of signal lines and is electrically connected to at least one transistor disposed in the on-emission area surrounding the emission area where the active pattern is disposed.

Abstract: A disclosed display apparatus may include a substrate having a light emission area, including a pixel, and a non-light emission area in a periphery of the light emission area; a plurality of split lines spaced apart from each other in the non-light emission area, the split lines being configured to provide a signal for driving the pixel; a planarization layer in the non-light emission area and overlapping with a portion of each of the split lines; and a connection electrode covering the planarization layer in the non-light emission area and connecting the split lines to each other. The planarization layer may include a central area and an edge area in a periphery of the central area, the central area having a different thickness from the edge area.
