    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for monitoring auditory stimulation provided to a listener through a personal listening device. In one example, a method includes monitoring one or more acoustic profile parameters of an audio signal received from an audio source and rendered on a headphone assembly based on one or more received transducer parameters of one or more transducers of the headphone assembly; monitoring one or more listener-headphone engagement parameters based on headphone position data from a sensor coupled to the headphone assembly; and adjusting the audio signal and/or acoustic stimulation based on the monitoring of the one or more acoustic profile parameters and the monitoring of one or more listener-headphone engagement parameters, wherein the one or more listener-headphone engagement parameters include a current engagement status of the headphone assembly with respect to the user and a duration of active engagement of the headphone assembly with respect to the user.

    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system for synchronizing an audio stream is provided. The system includes a first loudspeaker and an audio controller. The first loudspeaker plays back a first audio output signal including first signature information. The audio controller provides a first audio input signal and superimpose the first signature information on the first audio input signal. The audio controller receives the first audio output signal including the first audio packets and the first signature information and to detect the first signature information. The audio controller determines a delay attributed to a transmission of the first audio input signal and the first audio output signal based on the first signature information and synchronizes the transmission of a second audio input signal from the audio controller to the first loudspeaker with the playback of another audio output signal from a second loudspeaker based at least on the delay.

    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system for controlling a multi-beam constant beamwidth transducer (CBT) array is provided. The system includes a loudspeaker assembly and at least one controller. The loudspeaker assembly includes a CBT array of transducers configured to transmit a first sound beam at a first tilt angle into a listening environment. The at least one controller is programmed to receive an input indicative of at least one of dimensions of the listening environment, a location of the loudspeaker assembly, and a location of a user in the listening environment. The at least one controller is further programmed to dynamically control the CBT array of transducers to transmit the first sound beam at a second tilt angle that is different than the first tilt angle into the listening environment based on the input.
