The method of charging a low voltage battery may includes: detecting data for charging a low voltage battery; determining whether a predetermined travelling condition is satisfied based on the data; comparing a current state of charge (SOC) of a high voltage battery with a first reference SOC when the predetermined travelling condition is satisfied; comparing a current SOC of the low voltage battery with a second reference SOC when the current SOC of the high voltage battery is equal to or greater than the first reference SOC; determining a target SOC based on the current SOC of the low voltage battery; and determining a charging speed and a charging amount of the low voltage battery.
