    Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure implement a method of assigning an identification number to a plurality of files associated with an application and storing the plurality of files in a non-volatile memory such that the plurality of files are stored in contiguous physical memory locations based on the identification number. The storing of the plurality of files in contiguous physical memory locations based on the identification number makes it easier for the non-volatile memory to cache at least one other file of the plurality of files upon a first read of a first file of the plurality of files.
