    Abstract: A synchronous rectifier type SRC for operating in an intermittence mode, which includes: an input power for supplying an input DC voltage; an input-side switching unit; a transformer with a primary winding and a secondary winding; an output-side switching unit for switching; and a gate driving circuit for detecting. According to the synchronous rectifier type SRC, a no-load characteristic can be controlled with an easy scheme and a simple construction. In addition, a simple resistor is added, and thus dead time can be generated. Consequently, it is possible to simply reduce switching loss that may occur in zero voltage switching.

Each of the primary and secondary windings has a multilayered structure in which a plurality of metal plates are laminated with gaps therebetween and are coupled to each other at one side ends thereof, and the metal plates of the primary and secondary windings are inserted into and coupled to each other at the other side ends thereof in such a manner that the metal plates of the primary winding are alternately inserted into the gaps of the second windings.
