  • Publication number: 20160125692
Abstract: A casino wagering game which enables the player to make two ante wagers and one blind bet, and then split a four card dealt hand into two separate hands. The player can raise or fold on each of the two player hands. The split hands do not need to be of equal size, and the dealer will supplement each hand so that player's each separate hand has a predetermined number of cards (e.g., three). The dealer's hand has four cards with only one revealed to the players. The dealer (after the players have acted) will reveal all three remaining cards and discard the card which makes the best possible three card hand with the remaining dealer's cards. Then each of the two player's hands is compared to the dealer's hand and the wagers are resolved accordingly.

  • Patent number: 9327183
Abstract: A method for conducting a game includes receiving an ante wager and optional side wagers. A player hand, a dealer hand, and a community set are dealt. A first option is conducted for the player to place a raise wager or check. After the first option, a portion of the community set is exposed, followed by a second option to place a raise wager or check, unless a raise wager was previously received. A portion of the dealer hand is exposed, followed by a third option to place a raise wager or fold, unless a raise wager was previously received. The remainder of the community set and dealer hand are exposed, a final player hand and final dealer hand are formed, and wagers are resolved based on a comparison of the final player hand to the final dealer hand, and whether the final dealer hand has a qualifying holding.

  • Patent number: 8821241
Abstract: A casino wagering game wherein a player makes a wager and then a dealer and the player are each dealt respective hands. The player and dealer split their respective hand into a high hand and a low hand. Each hand is evaluated to see if it contains a “lucky break” which is a predefined subset of all hands. If the player has a lucky break and the dealer does not, then the player wins. If the dealer has a lucky break and the player does not, then the player loses. If both the player and the dealer have lucky breaks then the wager is resolved based on a comparison of the hands. If neither the player nor the dealer have lucky breaks, then the wager is also resolved based on a comparison of the hands. In addition to physical playing cards, the game can be played using physical Mahjong tiles. The game can also be played in electronic form on a computer, video terminal, portable device, and at an online casino.

  • Publication number: 20110223982
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer readable storage to implement a casino wagering game related to Baccarat. Each player's hand and the dealer' (or banker's) hand is scored by adding up a point total of the respective cards modulo 10. The scoring also counts all pairs as a point total of 0. The player's hand is compared to the dealer's hand and the higher hand will win, subject to this scoring system. Numerous side bets can also be offered, such as a zero side bet wherein after the player is dealt two cards which total zero, the player is betting that a third dealt card (to form the player's three card hand) is also zero.
