Abstract: A notification display apparatus and method is provided, which may display a notification indicating a person's absence, location, or contact information. The notification display apparatus includes a near field communicator; an electronic paper display; and a controller that controls authentication of a mobile terminal of a user through the near field communicator, and receiving of a notification from the authenticated mobile terminal to display the received notification on the electronic paper display. A user may easily change a notification displayed on the notification display apparatus, and may display unique and various types of information.
