  • Publication number: 20140211319
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a head-up display apparatus for a vehicle. The head-up display includes an information analysis unit, a first information determination unit, a second information determination unit, and an information display unit. The information analysis unit collects vehicle state information, driver state information, driving environment state information, driver gaze information, individual characteristic information and common characteristic information from a plurality of information collection units, and analyzes the collected information. The first information determination unit prioritizes the vehicle state information, the driver state information, and the driving environment state information. The second information determination unit determines a driver's field of view based on driver field of view information and driver individual and common characteristic information.

  • Publication number: 20140149034
Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus for integrating multiple rate systems and a method of operating an apparatus for integrating multiple rate systems. In the method of operating the apparatus, navigation information is calculated through an inertial measurement unit, and mean values and variances of initial state variables of the navigation information are set. Sigma points are calculated using the mean values and the variances. The mean values are time-propagated until measurement information is input through a Global Positioning System (GPS). When the measurement information is input, the sigma points are time-propagated at intervals of a frequency of the measurement information. Variances are calculated using the time-propagated sigma points. The navigation information is updated using the time-propagated mean values, the calculated variances, and the measurement information.

  • Publication number: 20140139671
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a vehicle camera calibration includes choosing overlap images from among the image information captured by a camera mounted on a vehicle, and filtering images having the same vehicle attitude from among the chosen overlap images on a basis of a map coordinate system and status information of the vehicle, picking out objects in the filtered images, separating stationary objects from the picked out objects, and predicting an angular misalignment with respect to the separated stationary objects.

  • Publication number: 20120150412
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a driving work load measurement apparatus. The driving work load measurement apparatus includes a driving work load calculation unit and a warning alarm unit. The driving work load calculation unit calculates driving work loads driving-related information collected according to driving, and calculates a total driving work load using the driving work loads and weights which are set for the respective driving work loads. The warning alarm unit provides a warning message corresponding to the total driving work load, based on control of the driving work load calculation unit.
