Abstract: According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device may include a memory and a processor operatively connected to the memory, wherein the memory may include instructions that cause, when executed, the processor to identify whether or not a specified operation command for data related to an application executed in the electronic device is received, if the specified operation command is received, identify an integrity check level specified for the application, perform an integrity check on the data, if the specified integrity check level of the application is greater than or equal to a reference level, in response to reception of the specified operation command, and determine whether or not to execute the specified operation command for the data according to a result of the integrity check. In addition to the embodiment of the disclosure, various other embodiments are possible.

The electronic device may include a first memory in a first node; a second memory in a second node having a slower access speed than the first node; and a third memory storing one or more instructions, that when executed, cause the electronic device to receive a request for memory allocation of a page; determine whether the request is for a file that has at least one page mapped to any memory from the one or more memories; and allocate the page to the first memory in the first node based on the file having at least one page mapped to the memory.

The at least one processor may identify damage to the database file while a first application running on the electronic device accesses the database file. The at least one processor may control a second application running on the electronic device to wait without accessing the database file until recovery of the damaged database file is completed. The at least one processor may record recovery state information indicating that the database file is recovered if the recovery of the damaged database file is completed. The at least one processor may control the second application to access the recovered database file based on the recovery state information.
