Abstract: An apparatus for decoding an audio signal and method thereof are disclosed. The present invention includes receiving the audio signal and spatial information, identifying a type of modified spatial information, generating the modified spatial information using the spatial information, and decoding the audio signal using the modified spatial information, wherein the type of the modified spatial information includes at least one of partial spatial information, combined spatial information and expanded spatial information. Accordingly, an audio signal can be decoded into a configuration different from a configuration decided by an encoding apparatus. Even if the number of speakers is smaller or greater than that of multi-channels before execution of downmixing, it is able to generate output channels having the number equal to that of the speakers from a downmix audio signal.

Abstract: A method for processing an audio signal during the multi-channel audio coding is disclosed. The present invention provides the method for processing an audio signal comprising: generating a fixed output channel using a down-mix signal and a basic matrix; and generating an arbitrary output channel using the fixed output channel and a post matrix.

Abstract: An apparatus for processing a signal and method thereof are disclosed. Data coding and entropy coding are performed with interconnection, and grouping is used to enhance coding efficiency. The present invention includes the steps of obtaining difference information and entropy-decoding the difference information according to an entropy coding scheme including time grouping and frequency grouping and data-decoding the difference information according to a data decoding scheme including a pilot difference, a time difference and a frequency difference.

The suds removal method is designed to effectively remove suds at the earliest possible time using a small amount of water by adjusting an activity of suds when the generation of suds is sensed. The suds removal method includes sensing the generation of suds during a washing cycle, and removing the suds by adjusting the activity of suds when the generation of suds is sensed.

The display panel, having a panel plate and barrier ribs formed on the panel plate is placed on the base plate. A spray unit includes a nozzle assembly for spraying a slurry containing phosphors into spaces between the barrier ribs. A charged unit for exerting electrostatic force on the phosphors is positioned adjacent to the display panel. The apparatus enables rapid formation of uniform phosphor layers on a display panel with the phosphor particles located adjacent to the surfaces of the phosphor layers.
