    Abstract: The present invention relates to a medium composition for transforming stem cells from an aged person into young stem cells, and more particularly to a medium composition for culturing stem cells, which is used to rejuvenate stem cells from an aged person so as to have characteristics similar to those of the stem cells of young people, and to a method for rejuvenating stem cells, which comprises culturing stem cells from an aged person in the medium composition. According to the present invention, even mesenchymal stem cells collected from over 60 years old patients can be transformed into young mesenchymal stem cells having high differentiation ability, high telomerase activity, and high ability to express stem cell markers. Thus, the present invention can significantly increase the efficacy of cell therapy employing mesenchymal stem cells.

A cell search method in an OFDM cellular system in which a primary sync channel and a secondary sync channel are configured based on time division multiplexing (TDM) includes acquiring sync block synchronization and a primary sync channel sequence number using a primary sync channel symbol included in a frame received by a terminal, detecting a boundary of the frame and a scrambling code group using the sync block and a secondary sync channel symbol included in the frame received by the terminal, and acquiring a scrambling code using the primary sync channel sequence number and the scrambling code group, thereby reducing cell search time with low complexity.

The cell search apparatus includes a sync acquirer acquiring synchronization of sync channel symbols using a sync channel of a forward link, and a group detector detecting at least one hopping codeword element belonging to a hopping codeword of a target cell from a forward link signal containing sync channel symbols sequence-hopped using a hopping codeword corresponding to a code group to which a scrambling code of each cell belongs based on the acquired synchronization, and detecting a code group of the target cell based on the detected hopping codeword element, wherein the hopping codewords are orthogonal to a cyclic shift operation. Accordingly, a cell search time and the complexity of the cell search can be reduced.
