Abstract: A pump for discharging doses of liquid, gel-like or viscous substances from a container, having a pump body made of a flexible and elastic material which can be squeezed together to form a suction vacuum and delivers the liquid via an outlet valve, which opens under overpressure. In order to provide a pump of the type mentioned, which is of simple construction and is at the same time self-priming, provision is made for the outlet valve to be configured as a valve plate which closes the pump body at the top, is molded integrally onto the latter, is convex in the delivery direction, and has an incision which forms the valve outlet in the form of a lip seal.

Abstract: A dispenser for discharging a flowable medium, having an elongate storage container which receives the flowable medium, has an essentially constant inner cross-section, bears a manually actuable, suction-type discharge device at the top and contains a follow-on plunger which forms a base in the storage container and is in close contact with a dischargeable quantity of free-flowing medium. In order to provide a dispenser of the abovementioned type which is of simple construction and is subject to low wear, it is provided that the plunger is made up of a circumferentially closed-cell flexible foam, which has little or no capacity for adhesion, and is provided with a slightly oversized circumferential surface with respect to the inner cross-section of the storage container, with the result that the plunger can slide along the inner wall of the storage container.

Abstract: Container for storing two different substances, having a first compartment containing a liquid, a second compartment containing another liquid, a separating body which separates the two compartments, and a puncturing device comprising a tool which breaks the separating body when required and can be moved by hand by means of at least one transmitting part which transmits compression forces, such that the transmitting part is designed as a puncturing device comprising a press member having a press shank which is lengthened upon appliance of a lateral squeezing force onto the side walls of the compartment containing the puncturing device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a curler having a roller made of a plastic or latex material and a self-gripping tape which is seated thereon, the self-gripping tape covering a central portion of a circumferential surface of the roller designed as a soft roll and consisting of a closed-cell foam, and the roller exhibiting, on both sides of the central portion, in each case one uncovered portion which occupies from 18 to 35% of a length of the roller.
