  • Publication number: 20050198766
Abstract: A filter device for a vacuum cleaner comprises: a casing having a collecting space therein, a suction opening through which air including dust is sucked, formed eccentrically at one side so that sucked air can be rotated and a discharge opening through which purified air is discharged; a filter installed at an internal space of the casing, for filtering dust from air sucked through the suction opening; a filter cleaning unit disposed at an outer circumferential surface of the filter, for cleaning the filter by being rotated by a rotation force of air sucked through the suction opening; and a rotation restraining means for restraining rotation of the filter cleaning unit when the filter cleaning unit reaches a top dead point. Accordingly, fine dust attached to the filter in cleaning is removed so that a channel of the filter can be prevented from being closed.

  • Publication number: 20050081323
Abstract: A dust cover of a vacuum cleaner is installed to be separable from a dust collecting chamber so as to open/close the dust collecting chamber in which a dust bag filtering sucked dust is mounted, and has a support part to which the dust bag is mounted at its inside, thereby easily performing processes of mounting the dust bag to a vacuum cleaner and separating the dust bag from the vacuum cleaner and discarding without an external contamination.

  • Patent number: 6843644
Abstract: Disclosed is a mounting structure of a blower for a vacuum cleaner comprising a mounting cover for fixing the blower to a body base so that the blower is structurally separated from a body cover. The mounting cover is put on the upper surface of the blower disposed on supporting ribs, and connected to the body base, and then the body cover is put on the body base. The blower is fixedly interposed between the supporting ribs and the mounting cover and separated from the body cover, thereby preventing oscillation generated by the blower from being transmitting to the body cover and then preventing the oscillation of the body cover and the consequently occurring noise of the body cover.

  • Publication number: 20040231095
Abstract: A cleaner includes a suction motor mounted in a cleaner main body, and generating a suction force; a filter for collecting dust or filth sucked by the suction force generated at the suction motor; a suction head connected with the filter by a suction tube, and sucking dust and filth on a floor; a brush installed in the suction head so as to ascend/descend in a vertical direction, and sweeping dust and foreign substances into the suction head; and a brush height control apparatus installed in the suction head, and making the brush ascend/descend in a vertical direction. The cleaner having a brush height control apparatus can prevent deterioration of a suction force and improving cleaning performance by constantly maintaining a gap between the suction head and the floor.

  • Publication number: 20040221418
Abstract: A cleaner having a brush includes a suction motor mounted in a main body, and generating a suction force; a filter for collecting dust or filth sucked by the suction force generated at the suction motor; a suction head connected with the filter by a suction pipe, and having an inlet through which dust and filth on a floor are sucked; and a brush rotatably mounted at an inside of the suction head. The inlet is partitioned off into a first section and a second section by a belt cover for protecting a belt winding around the brush, and a flow passage unit is formed at the brush so that air can flow between the first and second sections. Accordingly, air can flow smoothly at a portion, which is blocked by the belt cover, and thus cleaning performance can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6748622
Abstract: A water circulation cleaner is provided which is capable of easily removing contaminants on a cleaning object through the use of an improved suction head. A plurality of injection nozzles are used to spray cleaning water onto a surface of an object to be cleaned, and a suction port then sucks debris and fluid off of the surface of the cleaning object. An impeller assembly is used to generate this suction force, while a filter device removes debris contained in the suction fluid from the cleaning water. A brush and a duster may be affixed to a lower surface of the suction area of the cleaner, and can be used either alone or in combination to loosen debris from the surface of the object to be cleaned, thus facilitating removal by suction of the debris, and the effective and efficient cleaning of the object.
