Abstract: A double-deck parking device is provided for parking two cars one above the other in order to more efficiently utilize available parking space. The parking device includes a platform which may be moved to a position adjacent a base plate for locating a vehicle thereon. The platform may be raised above the base plate and another vehicle may be parked on the base plate. The platform may be further raised to a vertical position to allow vehicles of differing heights to be mounted on the base plate thus accommodating differing vehicle heights.
