Abstract: The present invention relates to a pet genome-based matchmaking social network system and a method for providing pet genome-based matchmaking information, the system comprising: a gene analysis device unit which provides pet gene analysis information; a bioinformatics information analysis device unit which provides information that may appear during breeding through bioinformatics analysis based on the gene analysis information; a basic information input unit which receives various information about pets from pet owners; a database unit which stores collected and analyzed information; and a pet matching recommendation unit which recommends a pet with the highest matching degree according to an application for matching.
