  • Patent number: 8411001
Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels, a data line transmitting a data voltage to the pixels, and a floating bar crossing the data line and being divided into a plurality of pieces. By dividing the floating bar into a plurality of pieces, a delay of a data signal can be prevented so that excellent images can be displayed. Furthermore, by disposing a diode between the pieces of the floating bar, an effect of dispersing static electricity can be maximized.

  • Publication number: 20120081640
Abstract: A display substrate and a display device including the same are provided. The display substrate includes a first substrate which is divided into a display portion including pixel regions and a non-display portion including a region other than the display portion. Color filters are formed in the pixel regions of the substrate to respective thicknesses. At least one stepped pattern is formed on the non-display portion of the substrate and from the same material as used to form at least one of the color filters. The stepped patterns are formed at an area occupancy density of 20% or more of the non-display portion. A minimum distance is maintained between the stepped patterns and the pixel regions.

  • Patent number: 7968881
Abstract: The invention relates to a thin film transistor substrate and a display device including the same, and provides a thin film transistor substrate and a display device including the same, which can prevent damage of elements due to static electricity by forming, in each unit pixel region where a pair of first and second pixel electrodes, a pair of first and second drain electrode plates that are connected to the first and second pixel electrodes and to connected to drain terminals of thin film transistors, and can obtain a dot inversion driving effect through line inversion driving by connecting the first drain electrode in one pixel region to the first drain electrode plate, connecting the second drain electrode in the one unit pixel region to the second drain electrode plate, connecting a first drain electrode in another unit pixel region neighboring the one unit pixel region to the second drain electrode plate, and connecting a second drain electrode in another unit pixel region to the first drain electrode

  • Publication number: 20110090436
Abstract: A display substrate has first and second conductive layers separated from one another by an insulation layer. The first and second conductive layers are used to integrally form on the display substrate, pixel units in a relatively central display area of the substrate and integrated gate driving circuitry as well as associated wirings thereof in one or more peripheral areas. The first and second conductive layers are covered by a first protection layer made of a first electrically insulative material. A second and supplementing protection layer is provided on top of the first protection layer. The supplementing protection layer (buffer layer) is formed of a material different from that of the first protection layer so as to provide supplemental resistance against corrosive chemical agents and supplemental resistance against formation of cracks.
