The chelating agent may include, for example, at least one selected from the group consisting of an aminocarboxylic-acid-based chelating agent and a phosphonic-acid-based chelating agent. The light-emitting device is provided with, for example, a substrate, a light-emitting element disposed on the substrate, and a wavelength conversion member covering the light-emitting element. The wavelength conversion member of the light-emitting device includes a cured product of a silicone resin, a Mn-activated fluoride phosphor, and a chelating agent.
