  • Patent number: 11936400
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a fifth generation (5G) or sixth generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. An encoding apparatus may obtain state-indicator information indicating a state of each of bits included in the polar code based on an index set of the bits, identify a weak-bit or a second weak-bit corresponding to a parity bit candidate position preset according to an interconnection within a parity-check (PC)-chain of the polar code and between PC-chains of the polar code as a parity bit, based on a number of weak-bits determined according to the state-indicator information and a number of bits to be used as parity bits, and obtain a polar code including the identified parity bit.

  • Publication number: 20240014931
Abstract: A 5th generation (5G) or 6th generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data rate than a beyond 4th generation (4G) communication system, such as long-term evolution (LTE) is provided. An electronic device performs interleaving on codeword bits, according to a polar code sequence corresponding to the codeword bits, allocates the interleaved codeword bits respectively to blocks, and transmits at least one symbol generated as a result of performing modulation on the interleaved codeword bits for each block, based on the allocation, on at least one resource block corresponding to each of the blocks.

  • Patent number: 11552671
Abstract: A method of a first communication device for removing a self-interference signal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a signal having a size less than a first threshold value from a second communication device in a first interval within a first frame, transmitting a first signal to a third communication device in the first interval, and estimating a self-interference channel through which the self-interference signal is transmitted based on the signal received in the first interval and the first signal transmitted in the first interval. The self-interference signal is a signal transmitted by the first communication device and is received by the first communication device through the self-interference channel.

  • Patent number: 11451244
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). The present disclosure relates to encoding and decoding using a polar code in a wireless communication system. A method for operation of a first device in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: among sub-blocks including at least one node, identifying at least one inactive sub-block to deactivate the node operation in the sub-blocks; encoding data by using a construction matrix determined on the basis of the at least one inactive sub-block; and transmitting the encoded data to a second device.

  • Publication number: 20220140944
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5th (5G) generation) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4th (4G) generation communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). The present disclosure relates to false alarm detection of detecting in a wireless communication system, and an operating method of a receiving node may include receiving a signal from a transmitting node, obtaining a plurality of decoding paths by decoding bits contained in the received signal, and determining whether the decoding is successful based on a detection metric determined based on values representing path metrics of the plurality of the decoding paths.

  • Patent number: 11184025
Abstract: An LDPC decoding method of a received signal including a plurality of received symbols is provided. A decoding apparatus selects a perturbation space in which perturbation is to be performed based on a code length of the received signal and a maximum number of perturbation rounds indicating a number of perturbation rounds that can be performed, and performs a perturbation round. The decoding apparatus performs perturbation on a corresponding received symbol among the plurality of received symbols in each perturbation round, and decodes the received signal on which the perturbation has been performed. The decoding apparatus determines that decoding is successful when there is a perturbation round in which a decoding result of the received signal satisfies a predetermined condition.
