  • Publication number: 20240064661
Abstract: Wireless communications are described for controlling a transmission. A base station may cancel, delay, and/or request a retransmission of a message. The base station may send a control message to control a transmission in a communication network. A wireless device may cancel a transmission (e.g., based on a pre-emption indication), determine a transmission power for a transmission (e.g., based on a power control message), and/or determine a retransmission of a message (e.g., based on a repetition indication).

  • Publication number: 20240064839
Abstract: A wireless device increments a beam failure instance counter based on a first beam failure instance indication for one or more first reference signals (RSs) for beam failure detection. The wireless device receives a medium access control control element (MAC CE) indicating one or more second RSs for beam failure detection. The wireless device resets the beam failure instance counter in response to receiving the MAC CE. The wireless device increments the beam failure instance counter based on a second beam failure instance indication for the one or more second RSs. The wireless device based on the beam failure instance counter being equal to or greater than a first value, triggers a beam failure recovery for the one or more second RSs.

  • Patent number: 11910450
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more configuration parameters indicating a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource for transmission of a message A (MsgA) payload of a contention-free two-step random-access procedure. The wireless device receives, from a radio resource control (RRC) layer of the wireless device, a request to reset a medium access control (MAC) layer of the wireless device. In response to the request and based on the configuration parameter indicating the PUSCH resource, the PUSCH resource for the MsgA transmission of the contention-free two-step random-access procedure is cleared.

  • Patent number: 11910309
Abstract: A base station may receive, from a wireless device, uplink data via a first configured grant resource of a first cell of a plurality of cells. The base station may determine a second cell from the plurality of cells to transition from a dormant state to a non-dormant state. The determining may be based on the second cell being configured with a control resource set for receiving uplink grants for retransmission of the uplink data. In response to the receiving, the base station may transition the second cell from the dormant state to the non-dormant state. The base station may transmit, to the wireless device via the second cell, an uplink grant indicating a radio resource. The base station may receive, from the wireless device via the radio resource, a retransmission of the uplink data.
