The method includes receiving a trigger signal generated by a sensor in a home in response to a mobile device being present at a specific location in the home, determining a home device corresponding to the specific location by using the trigger signal, selecting context information related to an operation of the determined home device from among context information received from the mobile device, and providing the selected context information to the home device.
