  • Publication number: 20170202611
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for detecting a position of an electrode inserted into a human body that predict a path through a position sensor in a handle part before the electrode is inserted into the human body and display the path. The device for detecting the position of an electrode inserted into a human body according to the present invention includes: a position signal generator generating a position signal; an electrode needle having an electrode-side position sensor that is provided in an interior of a lance needle thereof and receives the position signal to generate first position information; and a handle connected to the electrode needle and having a handle-side position sensor that is included therein and receives the position signal to generate second position information.

  • Publication number: 20120303015
Abstract: An electrode needle includes an electrode needle body, a metal tube, and an outer insulating tube. The electrode needle body is connected to a positive electrode of an RF generator. The metal tube is fixed around the electrode needle body and insulated from the electrode needle body. The metal tube is connected to a negative electrode of the RF generator. The outer insulating tube surrounds an upper part of the metal tube to expose a lower part of the metal tube. The outer insulating tube is movable longitudinally along the electrode needle body to vary an exposed area of the metal tube. At least one of a position, an area, and a cauterization speed of a site to be cauterized is controlled by varying the exposed area of the metal tube.

  • Patent number: 7591845
Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a stent for high frequency thermotherapy, which is fabricated by knitting first superlastic shape-memory alloy wires as a way to allow the first superelastic shape-memory alloy wires to cross each other at different positions to make a hollow cylindrical stent body having a net structure with a plurality of meshes. The stent body is covered with an insulating substance. A hollow cylindrical conductive body surrounds a waist part of the stent body while any one end or both ends of the conductive body is attached to the waist part of the stent body. At this time, the conductive body is fabricated by knitting second superelastic shape-memory alloy wires as a way to allow the second superelastic shape-memory alloy wires to cross each other at different positions.

  • Patent number: 7354437
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an electrode device for high frequency thermotherapy, including a main casing, an electrode needle, a first engaging part, and a guide unit coupled to the engaging part to be longitudinally moved relative to the electrode needle. The guide unit has a guide tube to receive therein the electrode needle to expose a tip of the electrode needle to the outside of an end of the guide tube. Thus, the exposed length of the tip of the electrode needle is varied according to a position that the guide unit is coupled to the engaging part. The electrode device may further include a three-way valve -provided between the main casing and the guide unit to supply a liquid medicine or water t a desired part of a patient body.

  • Publication number: 20060161246
Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a stent for high frequency thermotherapy, which is fabricated by knitting first superlastic shape-memory alloy wires as a way to allow the first supereleastic shape-memory alloy wires to cross each other at different positions to make hollow cylindrical stent body having a net structure with a plurality of meshes. The stent body is covered with an insulating substance. A hollow cylindrical conductive body surrounds a waist part of the stent body while any one end or both ends of the conductive body is attached to the waist part of the stent body. At this time, the conductive body is fabricated by knitting second superelastic shape-memory allow wires as a way to allow the second superelastic shape-memory alloy wires to cross each other at different positions.
