Abstract: A system for controlling tilting of a cab for a commercial vehicle includes: a tilt switch receiving a user's tilt-up or down request; a drive unit tilting up or down the cab of the commercial vehicle; a front detection sensor installed on the cab of the commercial vehicle detecting an obstacle in front of the vehicle; and a control unit identifying whether the user's request is a tilt-up or down based on a lapse of time during the tilt switch is pressed, controlling the drive unit to tilt up or down the cab in accordance with the identification of the tilt-up or down, and stopping a tilt-up operation of the drive unit when an obstacle is detected by the front detection sensor within a predetermined distance during the operation of the drive unit.
