  • Publication number: 20090098261
Abstract: The present invention relates to a preparation method of protein extracts from rice bran which is comprising a process of pre-treating rice bran; producing de-fatted rice bran by removing fat from the pellet; a process of extracting protein from the de-fatted rice bran, generating protein solution; and a process of precipitating protein from the protein solution to obtain final protein extracts from rice bran. The method of the present invention makes it possible to obtain lipid from rice bran, which has been wasted and used only as feed or compost due to fast rancidity and low stability, and to ultimately develop proteineous materials of high quality, non-GMO and no-allergy by extracting protein from the rice bran. In addition, the present invention provides a method of recycling rice bran, which is wasted as a by-product, by adding values to the rice bran.

  • Patent number: 7398459
Abstract: Storing parity information in an external storage with multiple disk drives by determining the number of the storage blocks used as data blocks and the number of the storage blocks used as parity blocks; forming a three-dimensional block matrix of virtual data blocks corresponding to the determined number of the storage blocks; allocating virtual parity blocks to the virtual data block planes; allocating the virtual data blocks and the virtual parity blocks to the storage blocks; calculating parity information based upon data bits respectively stored in the storage blocks corresponding to the virtual data blocks of every virtual data block plane; and storing the calculated parity information in the storage blocks corresponding to the virtual parity blocks. The stored parity information allows any number of error blocks to be recovered, and more particularly allow three or more error blocks per one parity group to be recovered.

  • Publication number: 20080134713
Abstract: A turbo fan including backward-inclined blades that are inclined in a direction opposite to a rotating direction of a rotating plate. A positive pressure surface of each blade, facing the rotating direction of the rotating plate, takes the form of a flat surface, and a negative pressure surface of the blade, opposite to the rotating direction of the rotating plate, takes the form of a convexly-curved surface. A radius of curvature defined by the convexly-curved negative pressure surface is within a range of 2.5˜4 times of a radius of the turbo fan. The turbo fan can reduce noise and consumption of power together, and consequently, an air conditioner having the turbo fan can achieve an improvement in performance.

  • Patent number: 7099631
Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure of an antenna and its shielding structure for a mobile phone which may significantly reduce the hazardous electromagnetic wave transmitted to the user's body. The present invention arranges a monopole antenna inside of the mobile phone housing, and installs an electromagnetic wave absorber between the antenna and the circuit board. The electromagnetic wave absorber can absorb the electromagnetic wave reflected form conductive plate constituting the circuit board. Thus, the adverse effect of the reflected electromagnetic wave to the performance of antenna is prevented and the amount of the electromagnetic wave to which the users is exposed can be significantly reduced as well.

  • Patent number: 7075325
Abstract: Semiconductor devices are tested under actual operating conditions by interfacing the devices to an actual board-type product, for example, through a test board tat includes a mounting unit such as a socket or pattern of conductive lands that allows the devices being tested to be mounted to and removed from the test board with minimal effort and signal degradation. An interface circuit on the test board compensates for environmental differences between the board-type product and the mounting unit. For example, the interface circuit can include a clock distribution circuit, which utilizes a phase locked loop, and a register circuit to compensate for electrical loading caused by the device mounting unit, and to provide the proper timing margins between clock signals and control signals applied to the semiconductor devices. A power control circuit can be used to manipulate the supply voltage thereby providing a voltage margin screening function.
