Abstract: A method for alleviating or treating anaphylaxis is disclosed. By allowing patient suffering from anaphylaxis to hear drumming with a buk (a Korean traditional drum), the method can be useful in replacing medicinal treatment since the method has an excellent therapeutic effect with a level similar to that when a drug is administered even without administering any drugs, by reducing various kinds of inflammatory-related factors such as HIF-1?, VEGF, inflammatory cytokines and ER-? in the brain of patient suffering from anaphylaxis.

Abstract: A method for treating depression is disclosed. By allowing patients suffering from depression to hear jinyangjo-jangdan (a very slow rhythm) of sanjo (a style of traditional Korean music), the method can be useful in replacing medicinal treatment since the method has an excellent therapeutic effect with a level similar to that when a drug is administered even without administering any drugs, by promoting the activities of monoamine compounds such as serotonin and a brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the brains of patients suffering from depression.
