Abstract: Provided are a bicyclic fused ring such as for example, benzo[d]imidazole, benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole, or 8-oxo-8,9-dihydro-7H-purine derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a process for the preparation thereof, a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same and a use thereof, wherein the bicyclic fused ring derivative or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has an inhibitory activity against the lysyl oxidase family and can be usefully applied for preventing or treating various diseases associated with the lysyl oxidase family, such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), chronic kidney disease (CKD), or liver cirrhosis.

Abstract: The present invention provides a biosensor for detecting allergies. The biosensor comprises a substrate; an electrode layer formed on a portion of an upper side of the substrate; a single-walled carbon nanotube layer formed on another portion of the upper side of the substrate; a linker layer formed on the single-walled carbon nanotube layer; and an antibody which is immobilized and bonded to the linker layer. In the biosensor for detecting allergies according to the present invention, 1-pyrenebutanoic acid succinimidyl ester is comprised as a linker on the substrate which is coated with a single-walled carbon nanotube, and the antibody which is capable of capturing an allergy-inducing protein is immobilized on the linker. When the allergy-inducing protein is captured by the antibody, a resistance value is changed, so that the allergy-inducing protein is capable of being detected with high sensitivity in a short time by sensing the changed resistance value.

The benzo[d]oxazole derivative, which is a nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) inhibitor, is capable of inhibiting activity of Nrf2 that induces an antioxidant enzyme to remove reactive oxygen species (ROS) that kills a cancer cell, thereby increasing production of ROS. Therefore, the benzo[d]oxazole derivative can be used as an anticancer supplement agent that shows therapeutic effects in anticancer agent therapy or radiation therapy, and in this regard, the benzo[d]oxazole derivative can overcome tolerance of the cancer cell to anticancer agent therapy or radiation therapy and enhance apoptotic effects on the cancer cell.

Abstract: A DBDM (dual band dual mode) terminal is provided for supporting different packet frame modes and a supporting method thereof. This may be provided by mounting a data communication protocol (TCP/UDP/IP/PPP) supporting different communication networks onto a video chip having application of packet data services of the DBDM terminal. It therefore may be possible to remove communication protocols of modem chips for different communication networks applied to a DBDM terminal. Accordingly, consistency of communication protocol may be maintained by using the same communication protocol in different communication networks, and performance of a terminal may also be improved by making application of a packet data service interwork directly with a socket. In addition, by mounting a communication protocol on a video chip, debugging can be easily performed during development.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for enhancing performance of a packet service of a mobile communication terminal is disclosed. When the mobile communication terminal uses a packet service, an RAB set between the mobile communication terminal and a base station is compared to a reference value and the priority level of a packet service task processed in the mobile communication terminal is raised only when the mobile communication terminal is connected to the base station at or above the reference value. When the packet service is terminated, the priority level of the packet service task is returned to an original low priority level. The mobile communication terminal uses a maximum transmission speed for the packet service and when the mobile communication terminal uses a concurrent service requiring both real time service and packet service, packet service performance may be improved without affecting the real time service.
