    Abstract: The present invention relates to a conductive polymer composition having PTC properties, that is, a PTC composition, and a PTC device comprised thereof, in particular, it relates to a PTC composition and a PTC device comprising thereof, wherein the PTC composition comprises: a) at least one crystalline thermoplastic olefin-based polymer and at least one rubber-based polymer resin containing unsaturated group; and b) conductive particles dispersed in a polymer matrix formed of component a). The PTC device comprising the PTC composition makes it possible to construct circuit protecting devices which can stably maintain their initial resistance value in spite of repeated current cycling by short-circuit.

    Abstract: A high-efficient phosphorescent iridium (III) complex with a heteroatom linking group and an organic electroluminescent (EL) device using the same. The iridium complex of the present invention complex can efficiently emit light ranging from a blue region to a red region in a triplet MLCT state. The iridium (III) complex can be used in formation of an organic layer of an organic EL device. Since the iridium complex of the present invention can be used as a high-efficiency phosphorescent material, the iridium complex of the present invention can produce white light emission when used together with a green-emitting material or a red-emitting material as well as emission at the wavelength range of 400-650 nm.

The PTC composition according to the present invention has an enhanced adhesion to electrodes, which minimizes contact resistance and increases the maximum working current (hold current). The PTC device comprising the PTC composition can be used as a circuit protection device which protects circuit from overflowing and which holds initial resistance value although it is reused after multiple short circuit have taken place.

The process yields high quality polyester polymers having a good color and excellent physical properties. The process can considerably reduce both the esterification time and the polycondensation time.

The process can considerably reduce both the esterification time and the polycondensation time and provides a good color and excellent physical characteristics.
