Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of a stress disease and depression, the pharmaceutical composition be safely useable without toxicity and side effects by using an extract of leaves of Vaccinium bracteatum Thunb., which is natural resource of Korea, so that the reduction of manufacturing and production costs and the import substitution and export effects can be expected through the replacement of a raw material for preparation with a plant inhabiting in nature.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for processing substrate which prevents a plasma discharge from being transferred to a substrate so as to minimize damages on the substrate and also minimize deterioration in quality of a thin film deposited on the substrate, wherein the apparatus may include a process chamber for providing a reaction space, and a gas distribution module for dissociating processing gas by the use of plasma, and distributing the dissociated processing gas onto a substrate, wherein the gas distribution module may include a lower frame having a plurality of electrode inserting portions, an upper frame having a plurality of protruding electrodes and processing gas distribution holes, and an insulating plate having a plurality of electrode penetrating portions.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a ballast water treatment device. The device includes a filtering unit filtering ballast water introduced into a ship using a filter, a vortex generating unit generating an artificial vortex in the ballast water filtered by the filtering unit, and an ultraviolet treatment unit having an ultraviolet lamp which sterilizes the ballast water discharged from the vortex generating unit using ultraviolet rays, thus preventing secondary contamination resulting from by-products, preventing a ballast tank from becoming contaminated, affording effective maintenance, and making it convenient to control. Further, an artificial vortex is formed in the ballast water when it is mixed, thus allowing a large quantity of ultraviolet rays to be radiated onto the ballast water passing through the ultraviolet treatment unit, therefore improving a sterilization effect.

Abstract: A system for treatment of ballast water used in a ship includes a filtering unit which filters the ballast water taken into a ship; an ultraviolet treatment unit for sterilizing the ballast water filtered by the filtering unit by using ultraviolet rays; and a control unit for controlling the filtering unit and the ultraviolet treatment unit. The filtering unit includes a body having an inlet and an outlet, a filter for filtering the ballast water flowing along the inside of the body, an automatic washing unit for washing off foreign substances from the filter, and a pressure sensor for measuring pressures at the inlet and the outlet. The ultraviolet treatment unit includes a body having an inlet and an outlet, an ultraviolet lamp for irradiating ultraviolet rays to the ballast water flowing along the inside of the body, a sleeve washing unit, an ultraviolet intensity meter, and a temperature sensor.
