  • Patent number: 9400161
Abstract: An optical coherence tomography (OCT) probe using lead zirconate titanate (PZT). In the OCT probe using PZT, a sine wave is induced from a vibrator made of a piezoelectric element, so that an image in which the scanning range is increased can be captured due to the vibration of the vibrator. A decrease in the vibration of the vibrator can be minimized by optimizing the position where the base fixes the vibrator.

  • Patent number: 9156072
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an ultrasonic extrusion apparatus which causes resonance of an extrusion die using ultrasonic vibrations, thus reducing friction between the extrusion die and an extrusion material. The ultrasonic extrusion apparatus has an increased number of ultrasonic vibrators provided around the extrusion die in the circumferential direction to increase the vibration output, whereby when extruding a metal material such as a magnesium material, friction between the metal material and the extrusion die can be reduced, thus improving the performance of the extrusion process (preventing a reduction in an extrusion rate, generation of heat, cracking of a product, errors in measurements, etc.).

  • Patent number: 8870708
Abstract: Disclosed is a direct-type driving module of a differential gear for an electric vehicle, which is configured to directly connect a driving shaft of a driving motor to a driving bevel gear without a decelerator. In the direct-type driving module according to the present invention, the driving axel of the driving motor is connected to a driving bevel gear geared with the differential gear through a coupler, thereby easily adapting to the change of a driving axel. In addition, a rotator of the driving motor can be prevented from being compressed or applied with a tensile load due to an external force applied to a driving axel installed in a direct-type driving method, thereby increasing durability of the driving motor.

  • Publication number: 20040251864
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling a brushless DC motor, which allows an ignition phase current to be ignited in advance by advancing an ignition time of the ignition phase current by a certain time, thus providing a sufficiently increased phase current is provided to the brushless DC motor during an actual phase commutation period. According to the present invention, the insufficiency of a phase current generated during the phase commutation period is compensated for, thus reducing torque ripple of the brushless DC motor occurring at the time of a phase commutation.

  • Patent number: 6806609
Abstract: A single phase induction motor and a compressor utilizing the single phase induction motor wherein the motor has a stator having a plurality of slots; a rotor being rotated by a magnetic field generated by an electric force between the stator and the rotor; and a main winding and a sub winding wound through the plurality of slots of the stator to form a revolving magnetic field of the rotor. The main winding and the sub winding form a centralized type of winding structure so that the main winding and the sub winding are wound in an alternate pattern via adjacent slots. Since the centralized winding structure of the main winding and the sub winding which are wound through the slots of the stator, the coil end is greatly reduced, and as a result, the material costs and copper loss can be greatly reduced. Further, the main winding and the sub winding, which are wound through the slots of the stator, do not protrude from opposite sides of the stator too much.
